Jeffrey Cleveland

Principal & Chief Economist at Payden & Rygel

Jeffrey Cleveland has a strong background in economics and finance. Jeffrey started their career as an Economist at David Taussig & Associates in 2004, where they worked until 2006. In 2006, they joined Payden & Rygel as an Economist, and later became a Senior Economist. In 2013, they were promoted to the role of Principal & Chief Economist. In this role, they are responsible for translating macroeconomics research into investment strategies. Jeffrey is also a frequent speaker at industry forums and is often quoted in the financial media.

Jeffrey Cleveland completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Political Economy from Whittier College, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Jeffrey then went on to pursue their MA in International Political Economy at Claremont Graduate University from 2002 to 2004, specializing in Politics and Economics.
