Gal Appelbaum

Gal Appelbaum has worked at a variety of companies since 2008. In 2008, they worked at the Escola Americana do Rio de Janeiro as a Yearbook Production Advisor, where they managed a team of 8 students and a volunteer editor to produce a 320 page yearbook. From 2009 to 2012, they worked at the Florida Institute of Technology as an Instructional Technologies Student Employee, where they maintained instructional technologies and set up new classrooms. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at Information Technology - Lab Support Services as a Technician and Pharos Team Member, where they maintained 17 computer labs and 531 systems across campus. From 2015 to 2021, they worked at Amdocs as a Senior Full Stack Developer, where they mentored fellow developers on UI best practices and designed complex solutions for UI requirements. Currently, they are working at PayEm as a Sr. Full Stack Developer, where they are primarily focusing on Frontend and have implemented a new UI architecture, practices, and standards system wide.

Gal Appelbaum received a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the Florida Institute of Technology between 2009 and 2013.
