Chad Gates

Chad Gates, CISSP, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Starting in 2001 at Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN), they served as a Network Administrator until 2004. From 2004 to 2009, they worked at ista North America as a Network Engineer. Chad then transitioned to Cadillac Jack in 2009, where they held the position of Network Systems Engineer until 2012. In the same year, they joined QBE North America as a Network Infrastructure Engineer. In 2012, Chad moved to Americold Logistics, LLC as a Senior Network Engineer. Most recently, they worked at PayGo, joining as Director of Infrastructure in 2013 and later becoming the Senior Director of Infrastructure, Security, and Compliance in 2016.

Chad Gates, CISSP, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from American Sentinel University, which they obtained from 2005 to 2008. In addition to their degree, Chad has acquired several certifications in the field of IT and cybersecurity. These include the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)², obtained in July 2023. Prior to that, they obtained the following certifications: Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing and Switching (CCNP-RS) from Cisco in August 2012, Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) from Cisco in April 2011, Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) from Cisco in January 2011, CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA in May 2004, and CompTIA Network+ from CompTIA in April 2003.
