Rob Kinder

Rob Kinder has a diverse work experience in the gaming and digital media industry. Rob is currently the Publishing Director at Payload Studios, where they oversee global store management, marketing, publishing partnerships, PR, events, and new business for the studio. Rob has also served as a Board Member for Ukie - The Association for UK Interactive Entertainment since 2021.

Prior to their current role, Rob worked as a Freelance Consultant at This Place, where they developed and implemented a project management strategy for digital projects for leading international brands. Rob also worked as a Senior Digital Business Manager (contract) at Bauer Media.

Rob has a background in gaming companies, having worked at Jagex as a Marketing/Publishing Director and later as a Brand Director. Rob also held positions at Green Man Gaming, Codemasters, and Metaboli, where they gained experience in e-commerce, trade marketing, and digital marketing.

Earlier in their career, Rob worked at Jagex in various roles, including Business Development Associate and Content Writer/Editor. Rob was responsible for expanding the product range of RuneScape and developing business relations with industry partners.

Rob Kinder attended Uckfield Community College from 1994 to 2001. Rob then went on to pursue a degree in English and Film at Anglia Ruskin University from 2002 to 2005.
