Elie Samaan

Elie Samaan has a diverse work experience starting in 2017 as an Industrial Engineering Intern at LEONI. In 2018, they founded their own automotive service called Elie's Garage, generating over E£1M / $63 in revenue. Elie then worked as a Key Account Manager at Art Lines for Decoration, successfully delivering 20+ projects for international chains. In 2019, Elie served as a Project Engineer at LEONI, overseeing the Jaguar XE Cabin wiring harness project. From 2020 to 2022, they held multiple roles at 10Fold Innovation Labs, including Key Accounts Manager and Project Manager for Breathe, an activewear brand. Elie also facilitated The Sprint event as part of the AUC Venture Lab team. In 2022, they joined Odoo as a Business Advisor, achieving 169% over target in the first quarter and expanding sales in UAE, Egypt, and KSA. Currently, Elie works as an Account Manager at paymennt.com, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an E-Commerce Advisor at The World Bank, where they designed, executed, and optimized startups in the MENA region.

Elie Samaan completed their high school education at Dar El Tarbiah School from 2008 to 2013, where they obtained a High School degree in I.G.C.S.E. In 2013, they enrolled at The British University in Egypt and pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, which they completed in 2018.

In 2019 and 2020, Elie participated in the Founder Institute, a pre-seed accelerator program, where they deepened their knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship.

Elie continued to pursue executive education and professional certifications. In 2021, they attended the Harvard Business School and completed the HarvardX - Executive Educations program focused on Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies. Additionally, they obtained the "Africa Live! Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies" certification from Harvard Business School Executive Education. These programs aimed to enhance their expertise in entrepreneurship and Africa's emerging economies.

Elie also obtained various certifications outside of formal education. In September 2021, they completed the "Forward Program" from McKinsey & Company. Elie also obtained a certification in Digital Marketing from Udacity in March 2021. In April 2020, they completed the "Design Sprint Masterclass" from AJ&Smart.
