Kate Fitzgerald

Kate Fitzgerald has a solid work history in the banking and financial sector. Kate began their career in 1995 at Lloyds Bank, where they spent 18 years in various Change, Operations, and Retail roles. Kate served as the Head of Payments Change and led major infrastructure delivery projects, including the integration of HBoS and the TSB Verde separation. In 2013, Kate joined TSB Bank as Change Director and later became Payments Director. Kate then took a career break from September 2017 to December 2018. Kate went on to work as an Advisor at Nationwide Building Society from December 2018 to May 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Advisor at Payment Systems Regulator since May 2020 and recently transitioned to Head of Policy in June 2022.

Kate Fitzgerald earned a Bachelor's degree in French & Russian from the University of Nottingham, which they attended from 1990 to 1994.
