Walter Sy

Walter Sy is currently the VP of Sales at PaymentCloud. Walter has over 20 years of experience in the payments industry and has held various executive positions during their career.

Walter started their career at iPayment, Inc. in February 2014 as the Vice President of High Risk. Walter was responsible for forging business-to-business sales, developing profitable sales teams, driving market initiatives, and managing business development. Walter was successful in building, guiding, and sustaining successful sales teams and ISOs within very competitive industries.

In February 2016, Walter left iPayment to join PaymentCloud as the VP of Sales. In this role, they are responsible for generating revenue and developing sales strategies including lead generation, cold calling, bank relationships, strategic partnerships, and customer relations. Walter has extensive product knowledge in the electronic payments industry including: POS software, mobile payments, ATMs, gateway and e-commerce solutions, remote deposit capture, wireless, and NFC technology.
