Michael Velasquez

Michael Velasquez has an extensive work history that spans over two decades. Michael began their career as a Proof Operator at Bank of America in 1999 before transitioning to the technology industry. Michael worked as a Software Engineer at BrightSpot Media in 2005 before consulting as a Software Consultant at Sogeti in 2007. In 2008, they became a Principal .NET Software Engineer at eInstruction, where they worked until joining US Airways (now American Airlines) as a Senior .NET Software Engineer Consultant in 2009. In 2010, they joined ImageTag as a Principal Senior Software Engineer and eventually became the Director of Software Development. While at ImageTag, Michael led the engineering department's transition to an Agile Scrum methodology, which yielded improved product quality.
