Marcis Trapencieris is currently the Head of Data Science at Paynt, where Marcis leverages data to derive insights and develop data products for business decisions. With a background in research and data analysis, Marcis has extensive experience as a Researcher at the Institute of Sociological Research and the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology. Prior to their current role, Marcis worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Alfa Finance, specializing in credit scoring and portfolio management. Marcis also has experience as a Risk Analyst, consulting for governmental agencies on establishing data collection and management systems. Throughout their career, Marcis has demonstrated expertise in data engineering, data pipelines, Tableau, and various statistical models and ML algorithms.
