Bastian Schulz

Bastian Schulz has a strong background in software and cybersecurity. Bastian started their career at PAYONE in 2013 as a Software Engineer and eventually moved up to the role of Teamlead Security Engineering. During their time at PAYONE, they also served as a Security Engineer and Associate Director of Software Security. In 2021, Bastian joined Worldline Global as the Head of 1st Line of Defense Merchant Services, where they lead a global team to strengthen the security of international merchant services operations. Bastian is responsible for international leadership and driving strategic initiatives to enhance security maturity.

Bastian Schulz obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Technische Informatik from Hochschule Flensburg, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. Bastian also holds additional certifications in Offensive Security, Software Security, Advanced Penetration Testing, CCNA Exploration: Network Fundamentals, CCNA Exploration: Routing Protocols and Concepts, and Pattern-Oriented Software Architectures: Programming Mobile Services for Android.
