Fahey Owens

Fahey Owens is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Director of Cyber Security at PayPal since June 2025, Fahey previously held the position of Executive Director of Cybersecurity at Trustmark from October 2021 to June 2025. Prior to that, a significant tenure at Discover Financial Services included various senior management roles focused on threat intelligence, vulnerability management, application security, and mobile security from November 2006 to November 2021. Earlier roles included positions at WW Grainger and several other organizations in systems administration and network support. Fahey Owens holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Management from Western Governors University and has further education from ITT Technical Institute.
