Michele Hungerford

Michele Hungerford has extensive experience in program management and anti-money laundering due diligence. Currently serving as Director of Automation & Technology Business Program Management at PayPal since September 2019, Michele has previously held several roles there, including Senior Manager and Tech Strategy Program Manager in the Global Financial Crimes sector. Before joining PayPal, Michele worked at Citi from November 2007 to October 2019, advancing from AML/Due Diligence Investigator to Senior Investigations Group Manager in the North America Global Due Diligence and Intelligence Analysis Unit. Earlier career experience includes positions at Travelers Insurance, focusing on background investigations and HR operations. Michele holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology from the University of Connecticut.
