Shelly Selick

Shelly Selick is an experienced communications leader currently serving as the Head of International Communications at PayPal since June 2014. In this role, Selick built a comprehensive communications function focused on strategic planning and insights, while overseeing internal and external communications for key APAC markets and managing crisis communications. Previous positions at PayPal include Director of Global Brand Communications and Director of Small Business Marketing, where Selick developed communication strategies and competitive positioning. Prior to PayPal, Selick held senior roles at Juniper Networks, Weber Shandwick, and Page One PR, where responsibilities included overseeing social media and digital strategy, managing client relationships, and transitioning PR practices. Selick holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from UC San Diego and has studied at Sciences Po Lyon.
