Huikan Xiang

Huikan Xiang has extensive work experience in the field of data engineering and software development.

Starting in 2010, they worked as a Research Assistant at France Telecom for nine months. Then in 2011, they joined fifty-five as a Big Data Engineer, where they worked until 2015.

In 2015, they joined KDS as a Software Engineer and worked there for two years. After that, from 2017 to 2020, they worked at Deezer as a Data Architect and later as a Lead Data Engineer until 2022.

In April 2022, Huikan joined Connecting Food as the Head of Data but left the company in August of the same year.

Currently, Huikan works as the Lead Data Engineer at Payplug, starting in November 2022.

Huikan Xiang obtained an Engineer's degree in Telecommunication and Network from Telecom ParisTech, where they studied from 2009 to 2011. During the same period, they also pursued a Master of Sciences degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. Additionally, in April 2017, Huikan Xiang completed the certifications for "Functional Program Design in Scala" and "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne). Most recently, in November 2022, they obtained the certification for "Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer" from Google.
