Rémy Turpin

Rémy Turpin is the Head of Engineering at PayPlug, a French startup focused on developing innovative technologies. Prior to joining PayPlug, Turpin worked at Dolead for four years as an engineer, where they were part of a team of 30 people responsible for the company's R&D center in semantic algorithms.

At Dolead, Turpin was part of a team of three engineers responsible for developing and preparing projects using a SOA architecture, primarily in Python (Flask) but also in PHP Zend Framework. The team practiced agile methods such as Scrum and eXtreme Programming on a daily basis, which allowed them to participate in sprint planning and to better understand the functional needs of users.

Turpin has extensive experience working with MongoDB, Redis, and ElasticSearch databases. Rémy places a high importance on code quality and follows standards such as PEP8 and PyFlakes. Rémy is also experienced in developing unit tests in parallel with applications.

Rémy Turpin studied for a Master 2 in Informatique at SUPINFO and for a BTS in Informatique de Gestion at Lycée Léonard de Vinci.
