Edward Woodfield

Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at PayQuicker

Edward Woodfield has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the IT and cybersecurity field. Edward is currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at PayQuicker since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at M&T Bank from 2018 to 2021 as a Cybersecurity Solutions Architect. Edward also gained experience as a Security Architect at M&T Bank (via TEKsystems) from 2017 to 2018. Edward served as a Security Consultant at Kodak Alaris (via TEKsystems) from 2016 to 2017. Before that, Edward held the position of Security Development Engineer at VoltDelta from 2011 to 2016. Edward has also worked in the role of Senior Software Development Engineer at both VoltDelta and Nortel Networks. Edward started their career as an Application Engineer at ABB in 1989. Edward has a diverse background working on various projects for Telco customers and creating custom process control applications.

Edward Woodfield attended Jamestown Community College from 1982 to 1985, where they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Computer Science. Edward then went on to study at the Rochester Institute of Technology from 1985 to 1988, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science. Additionally, Edward Woodfield has obtained several certifications, including the "Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals" from Microsoft in March 2021, the "Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) V4" from the Cloud Security Alliance in January 2019, and the "Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)" from (ISC)² in July 2020.
