We’re seeking a Senior QA Engineer with 10+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, self-driven, comfortable working in small teams, be able to work with high-level direction. This is an in-office position, five-days a week based in our San Jose, California office.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans to validate functionality across backend, frontend, and mobile applications, with a focus on mobile and Bluetooth (BLE) interactions.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts, covering web and mobile app interfaces, secure Bluetooth communication, and REST API functionality.
• Execute both manual and automated testing for mobile applications, focusing on end-to-end BLE connectivity, secure data transfer, and device compatibility.
• Collaborate with backend, full stack, and mobile engineers to identify, report, and resolve bugs early in the development lifecycle.
• Utilize tools like Jest for frontend testing, and apply relevant frameworks for API, mobile, and BLE testing.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a focus on complex, multi-platform systems.

• Strong experience in automated testing for backend (Node.js, PostgreSQL, CouchDB), frontend (AngularJS, ReactJS/VueJS), and mobile (Objective-C, Swift, Java, Kotlin) technologies.

• Proven expertise in testing secure Bluetooth (BLE) interactions and ensuring security compliance within mobile applications.

• Solid understanding of RESTful API testing and microservices validation.

• Familiarity with Jest for frontend testing, and experience with tools for automated API, mobile, and BLE testing.
