Thushy Moorthy

Thushy Moorthy has extensive work experience in various financial roles. Thushy began their career as an Accountant at Red Energy in 2006 and later worked as a Senior Accountant at Macpherson Kelley from 2012 to 2013. From 2013 to 2016, they served as a Finance Manager at Village Roadshow, followed by a role as Group Finance Manager at Country Road Group from 2016 to 2017. Thushy then worked as a Regional Finance Manager at David Jones and Country Road Group from 2017 to 2018. Thushy then joined David Jones as a Corporate Finance Manager from 2018 to 2021. Thushy's most recent positions include Group Financial Controller at Probuild Constructions from 2021 to 2022, and currently, they serve as the Head Of Finance at Payright. Additionally, they are involved in the Parents Association Committee at Trinity Grammar School, Kew, starting in 2023.

Thushy Moorthy's education history begins in 2003 at Monash University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biomedical Sciences, with a concentration in General studies. This program took them from 2003 to 2006. Continuing their academic journey, Thushy joined Monash University again in 2007 to pursue a Master of Professional Accounting degree, specializing in the field of Accounting. This program lasted for two years, from 2007 to 2008. Later on, in 2009, Thushy attended CPA Australia and obtained the designation of Certified Practising Accountant (CPA).
