Amit Gupta

Amit Gupta has extensive experience in tax management, with their most recent role being Vice President & Head of Tax at Paytm. Before joining Paytm in 2021, they served as the Head of Tax (India) at OYO from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Tax Director - APAC Region at Bombardier Transportation from 2013 to 2019. Before that, they held the position of Senior Manager - Taxation at Pernod Ricard from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, Amit has a background in tax management at Ericsson and Maruti Udyog Limited, where they held senior managerial roles. At Ericsson, they were responsible for advising on transfer pricing issues, handling international tax litigation, and strategizing to achieve favorable judgments from the Delhi High Court. Overall, Amit Gupta has a strong track record in tax management across various industries.

AMIT GUPTA completed their XIIth standard in Commerce from Modern Vidya Niketan Sr. Sec. school from 1993 to 1995. AMIT also completed their Xth standard from DAV Public School, Faridabad.
