Piyush Gupta

Piyush Gupta is an experienced business leader currently serving as the Head of Business Growth & Insights at Paytm since September 2024. Piyush previously held the position of Head of Strategy & MD’s Office for Financial Services at Bharti Enterprises from September 2022 to September 2024. Prior to that, Piyush was Vice President of Transformation at Barclays from January 2021 to September 2022, and worked as an Engagement Manager at Monitor Deloitte from June 2016 to January 2021. Starting the career at Deloitte as a Senior Consultant and Consultant from June 2012 to May 2016, Piyush also contributed as a Co-ordinator for the Student Placement Committee at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, where a rank of 22 was achieved in a batch of 385. Educational qualifications include a PGDM in Business Administration and Management from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, as well as a B.E. in Information Technology from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology. Piyush's internship experience includes devising growth strategies at Value Partners and technology-based roles at D.E. Shaw and Co.
