Vladimir Avendaño Arias has a diverse and extensive work experience. Vladimir started their career with COLVATEL S.A. ESP as a Técnico de Soporte from April 2008 to July 2011. Vladimir then joined PayU in August 2011 and held various roles over the years. Vladimir started as an Ingeniero de soporte clientes VIP, responsible for ticket resolution, research for effective solutions, and analysis of transactional/payment flow behavior. From April 2014 to February 2018, they worked as an Integration & Support Engineer, providing technical support, guidance, and consultation for integration processes, as well as conducting functional and quality tests. From February 2018 to March 2020, they served as a Sales Engineer with a focus on integration processes and support for electronic merchants, including research, analysis, and problem resolution. From April 2020 to April 2021, they transitioned to the role of Solutions Engineering Manager, overseeing integration and solution processes. Most recently, they became the Regional Integration and Solution Manager from April 2021 to January 2023. Vladimir is currently working at PayU as the Global Head of Sales Engineering, a role they have held since January 2023.
Vladimir Avendaño Arias completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios from 2015 to 2018. Before that, from 2010 to 2014, they pursued a Technician degree in Systems with a focus on Programming from the same institution. Prior to their tertiary education, they obtained a Technical degree in Electrical work from Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje (SENA) from 2006 to 2008. Their academic journey began with their high school education at Colegio Bolivar, where they completed their Academic Bachelor's degree with a specialization in Electricity from 1996 to 2006.
