Ioana Kardos

Ioana Kardos has a diverse work experience starting as an English Language Teacher in 2014 at Altfel Language School. Ioana then transitioned into various roles in education and HR at different organizations, such as Pro Erudio School of English, International Education Center Association, Premier Education, Transport for Greater Manchester, LTE group, Dentsu Aegis Network, and finally, 2dots. Their most recent role is as Lead Product Designer at Vyne, where they started in February 2022 after previously working as a UX/UI Designer.

Ioana Kardos completed their Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters at the University of Bucharest in 2012, followed by a Master's degree in English Linguistics from the same institution in 2014. Ioana then pursued an ERASMUS Scholarship in English Linguistics at Università Ca' Foscari Venezia in 2013-2014. In 2017, Ioana undertook CELTA Training at Shakespeare School, earning an ESOL Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults. Ioana furthered their education in 2018-2019 by completing Level 3 CIPD Qualifications in Human Resources. In 2020-2021, they delved into UI Design by attending the Interface Design Course at Shift Nudge. Additionally, they supplemented their education with certifications in User Experience and Design related fields from institutions like The Interaction Design Foundation and Designlab.
