Yuliya Melnik, MBA has a long and varied work experience. Yuliya began their career in 2001 as an Analyst/Coordinator for Wolters Kluwer. From 2005 to 2021, they worked for Discover Financial Services in a variety of roles, including Sr. Manager, Deposits Pricing Strategy and Analytics, Sr. Manager, Bank Money Movements and Operations Strategy, Sr. Manager, Bank Fraud Operations Strategy, Manager, Enterprise and Counterparty Credit Risk Management, Consultant, Corporate Risk Management, Project Manager, Corporate Risk Management, Sr. Associate, and Associate. In 2022, they began working for both PayZen and Oportun, as the Head of Servicing and Operations and Director, Digital Lending, respectively.

Yuliya Melnik has a comprehensive education background. Yuliya obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from DeVry University between 1999 and 2002. Yuliya then continued their studies at Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, obtaining a Master's in Project Management in 2005. In 2015, they completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, with a focus in Finance and Strategic Management. Additionally, in 2008, they obtained a PMP Certification from the PMI-OC Project Management Institute Orange County Chapter.
