Ruben Vandekerkhof

Ruben Vandekerkhof is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainability and engineering within the gelatin and chemical industries. Currently serving as the Global Sustainability Manager and Manager of Off-sites at PB Leiner since January 2013, Ruben oversees operations related to wastewater treatment, water treatment, and steam production, while also functioning as the global environmental coordinator. Previous roles include Project & Process Engineer at PB Gelatins and Technical Support Engineer at PB Pingyang Co. Ltd, where Ruben contributed to various projects and ensured effective communication between teams in Belgium and China. Ruben holds a degree in Chemistry, Food Technology, and Tropical Agriculture from KU Leuven and a Graduate degree in Computer Programming from Thomas More University of Applied Sciences.
