Kirk Austin is a seasoned professional in the energy and petroleum sectors with significant expertise in corporate development and strategy. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Corporate Development at PBF Energy since April 2022, Kirk leads initiatives focused on renewable fuels, green hydrogen, and carbon management to accelerate energy transition. Prior to this role, Kirk held various leadership positions at Phillips 66 from 1997 to September 2021, including Global Specialty Petroleum Coke Leadership, where responsibility included managing a $1 billion P&L for needle and anode coke used in lithium-ion batteries and other industries. Noteworthy achievements include capturing one-third of the global lithium-ion battery market and successfully executing 16 M&A transactions valued at $38 billion. Kirk holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Refining from Colorado School of Mines.
