Claudia Basta

Claudia Basta is a Senior Scientist at PBL Planbureau voor de Leefomgeving, specializing in Social-Environmental Assessment Frameworks since March 2017, where responsibilities include designing innovative assessment frameworks for evaluating the impacts of policies on the living environment. Claudia also serves as a Member of the Board of Advisors for The Integrated Assessment Society and coordinates the Planning Theory course at Utrecht University. Claudia contributes to the academic community as a member of the Editorial Board of Planning Theory and previously coordinated the European Working Group 'Ethics, Values and Planning' for AESOP. Prior roles include Assistant Professor at Wageningen University & Research and post-doctoral researcher at the 4TU Centre for Ethics and Technology. Claudia holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology, completed between 2004 and 2009.
