Jeroen Bastiaanssen

Jeroen Bastiaanssen is a Senior Researcher in Urbanisation and Transport at the Planbureau voor de Leefomgeving (PBL) since October 2019, focusing on transport economics, accessibility, and inequalities. Concurrently, Jeroen serves as a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Leeds and previously contributed as a PhD researcher at the same institution, investigating youth mobility and access to economic opportunities. Jeroen's extensive experience includes roles at Hogeschool Windesheim, Radboud University Nijmegen, and Forseti Tender Management, where research and consulting centered on transport issues and equity. Jeroen holds a PhD from the University of Leeds, an MSc from Radboud University, and a BSc from Breda University of Applied Sciences.
