Marc Schouten

Marc Schouten is an accomplished researcher and consultant in the fields of energy and climate policy, currently serving as a researcher at PBL Planbureau voor de Leefomgeving since January 2020. Prior experience includes co-founding Delft Spectral Technologies, where Marc was responsible for business development and funding from January 2014 to November 2023. Marc also held a consultancy role at PNO Consultants, focusing on project development for innovative energy and environment firms from May 2015 to January 2020, and contributed to research on solar cell materials at TU Delft in early 2014. Marc's background includes a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology, complemented by extensive project management and advisory roles in energy performance and sustainability from 2001 to 2015.
