Shruti Setty

Shruti Setty is a researcher currently affiliated with PBL Planbureau voor de Leefomgeving since November 2023. Prior to this role, Shruti was a PhD researcher at Wageningen University & Research from September 2019 to June 2024, focusing on tipping points and causality in the past Earth system. Experience includes a master thesis at Mathematikon, where research involved modeling the dynamics of plasmablast invasion into the bone marrow niche, along with various internships addressing topics such as Wnt signaling in Hydra, GPCR interactions, and dynamic metabolic modeling of the arachidonic acid pathway. Educational credentials include a PhD in Tipping Points in the Climate System from Wageningen University & Research, a degree in Molecular Biosciences from Heidelberg University, and a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
