Lucia Gajda has extensive experience in event planning and fundraising. Lucia is currently serving as the Events Director at PBS39, where they plan and executes events for the organization. Prior to that, they worked as an Event Manager and Membership Events Coordinator at the same company. Lucia has also worked as an Event Consultant for Earth Matter NY, where they provided guidance and managed activities for their 10th Anniversary Celebration. Lucia has held positions such as Manager of External Relations at Room to Grow, Development Manager and Development and Events Specialist at Little Flower Children and Family Services of New York, and Event Consultant for the Annual Gala at Brandworkers. Lucia has coordinated special events for City Parks Foundation and served as a Development and Events Associate at North Star Fund. Lucia started their career as a Marketing and Office Manager at the National Corporate Theatre Fund and worked as an Assistant House Manager at Union Square Theatre.
Lucia Gajda completed their secondary education at T.C. Williams High School from 1996 to 1998. Following that, they attended the University of Virginia from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Lucia'sfield of study at the university was English and Drama.
