Janelle Walker

Janelle Walker has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Janelle most recently served as the Director of Communications at the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape. Prior to that, they worked as the Deputy Digital Director for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Janelle also has experience as the Director of Communications at the Susquehanna United Methodist Conference and as the Social Media and Website Content Manager at the City of Harrisburg. Janelle began their career in marketing and provider relations at the Evangelical Community Hospital and later served as the Web/Print Communications Specialist at Living Water Community Church. Janelle also gained retail experience as the Assistant Visual Manager at Boscov's. Janelle started their professional journey as a Stacks Employee at the Pennsylvania State University Library and worked as an Intern - Photographer's Assistant at Campus Photography.

Janelle Walker earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Art and Photography from Pennsylvania State University from 2002 to 2006. Later, they obtained a Diploma in Web Design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh during 2010-2011. Additionally, they acquired various certifications in marketing research fundamentals, project management fundamentals, project management simplified, social media marketing with Facebook and Twitter, and online marketing fundamentals from lynda.com in July 2015.
