Michael Thompson, MCSE

Michael Thompson, MCSE, is an accomplished Senior Principal Developer at PCI Energy Solutions since April 2013, focusing on supporting technologies for GenPortal/GenTrader and maintaining Project Engineering Standards. Previously, at Progress Energy/Duke Energy, Michael served as a Senior Unit Commitment Analyst, managing integration and enhancements related to the Duke merger and developing procedures for GenTrader usage. Early career experiences include roles at Z Reality, Inc. and ABB, where skills in programming, systems administration, and application development were honed. Michael holds a BS in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University and a graduate degree in Organizational Leadership from Wilkerson College.
