Brent Hutfless

Brent Hutfless has over 25 years of work experience in the IT and security field. Brent is currently working as the Executive Director of IT Security at Wind Creek Hospitality, where they lead a team responsible for ensuring the safety and security of gaming, entertainment, and hospitality properties across the US and Caribbean. Prior to this, Brent worked as the Founder of Cannon Reef, LLC and as the IT Director of IT & Security Management at Austal, where they supported over 4000 employees and contractors in meeting strict DOD and Defense Security Services requirements. Brent also has experience in managing information assurance and security programs in the Navy Medicine Operational Training Center and the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training. Brent began their career in the US Navy as a Non-Commissioned Officer.

Brent Hutfless has a diverse education history. In 2009, they received a graduate certificate in Medical Informatics from the University of West Florida's School of Allied Health & Life Sciences. During the same year, they also completed their Master of Science in Computer Science/Software Engineering from the same institution.

Prior to that, Brent earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Troy University. Specific start and end years for this degree are not provided.

Additionally, Brent Hutfless holds a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification, which they obtained from (ISC)2 in December 2008.
