Daniel O'Connor-Birch

Daniel O'Connor-Birch has a diverse work experience, with their most recent role being a Data and Documentation Specialist at PCI Pharma Services starting in February 2023. In this role, they are responsible for writing technical analytical documentation and analyzing data to identify areas of improvement.

Prior to that, Daniel worked as an Advanced Resolution Specialist (Complaints) at OVO from September 2022 to February 2023.

Daniel also has experience in the healthcare industry, having worked for the NHS. Daniel started as a Medical Laboratory Assistant in September 2020 and later became an Associate Practitioner from June 2021 to October 2022. In these roles, they supported senior team members, carried out lab tests, managed equipment, trained junior members, and performed various administrative tasks.

Before their healthcare roles, Daniel worked as a Business Assistant at Keystores Convenience Stores from December 2014 to September 2020. Daniel also had brief sales assistant roles at Dorothy Perkins, Arcadia Ltd and Cineworld Cinemas Ltd in 2020 and 2018 respectively.

Additionally, Daniel briefly worked as an Estate Agent Assistant at David Weston Estate Agents in June 2014.

Daniel O'Connor-Birch has a strong educational background in psychology and educational psychology. Daniel obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, with an Honours distinction, from Buckinghamshire New University in 2020. During their time at the university, they completed a dissertation focused on the Dunning-Kruger Effect. Following this, they pursued further education and earned a Master of Science degree in Educational Psychology from Wrexham University, which they completed between 2022 and 2024.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Daniel has also obtained several certifications related to data analytics and visualization. These certifications were acquired through LinkedIn and include Data Strategy, Data Visualization for Data Analysis and Analytics, and Introduction to Career Skills in Data Analytics. The certifications were obtained in 2023, with the Data Strategy certification obtained in August and the other two in May.
