Lizette Janse van Rensburg

Lizette Janse van Rensburg has a diverse and extensive work experience. Lizette is currently the Head of Production at PCI Pharma Services since June 2023. Prior to that, they were a Member of the Sterile CoP Steering Committee at ISPE starting from December 2022. Lizette also worked as a Business Development Consultant at CMC-GMP (Pty) Ltd from April 2023 to May 2023.

Before that, they held the role of General Manager at Eurolab (Pty) Ltd from May 2021 to March 2023. Lizette also served as the Chief Operating Officer at Onderstepoort Biological Products from September 2020 to May 2021. Lizette was the Director of Business Development at CMC-GMP (Pty) Ltd from April 2020 to September 2020, where they established a consulting company focusing on quality and manufacturing solutions.

Lizette's earlier experience includes being the Head of Operations at Wildlife Pharmaceuticals South Africa (Pty) Ltd from March 2017 to March 2020. Lizette also led the KoeGer Science division of the same company as the Chief of Operations from July 2012 to March 2017, where they built a CDMO business and oversaw various operational functions. Additionally, they served as the Production/Technical Manager at the same company from September 2010 to July 2012, converting a research facility into a manufacturing operation and implementing process improvements.

Furthermore, Lizette worked as the Director of Science and Technology at Bush Baby Cosmetics from January 2006 to November 2011. Overall, Lizette has demonstrated expertise in production, operations management, business development, and quality and manufacturing solutions within the pharmaceutical industry.

Lizette Janse van Rensburg's education history includes a postgraduate diploma in Business Administration and Management, General from UCT GSB, which they obtained in 2012. Prior to that, they completed their MSc in Chemistry at the University of the Free State, from 2000 to 2007.
