Winston Brown

Winston Brown has over 30 years of work experience in various leadership roles in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Currently, they are the Executive Director Quality, Global Accounts at PCI Pharma Services, where they provide integrated pharmaceutical development services for global healthcare companies. Prior to this, they served as an External Operating Advisor at Kohlberg & Company.

From 2017 to 2023, Winston worked at Indivior as the Senior Vice President, Global Quality. Winston played a significant role in the organization's mission to provide unrestricted access to quality addiction treatment services worldwide.

Before joining Indivior, Winston served as the Vice President of Global Quality & Regulatory Affairs at Phillips-Medisize, a leading global provider of design and manufacturing services in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries.

Winston also held the position of Vice President, Global Quality at Alexza Pharmaceuticals and Global Head of Quality Assurance R&D at Alcon. Additionally, they worked as the Executive Director of Global Quality at Baxter International Inc., the Director of Manufacturing Operations at The Ritedose Corporation, and as a Quality Systems and Compliance Manager at Johnson & Johnson.

Winston began their career in the US Army, where they served as an Operations Officer providing operational, training, and logistical support. Overall, Winston Brown has a strong background in quality management and global operations within the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.

Winston Brown's education history is as follows:

From 2013 to 2017, they attended the University of Southern California and obtained a DRSc. degree in Regulatory Affairs and Science.

From 2005 to 2011, they attended the Stevens Institute of Technology and earned an MS degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering.

From 2001 to 2003, they studied at Penn State Great Valley, focusing on Electro-Mechanical Engineering.

Between 1996 and 1998, they pursued an MBA degree in International Finance & Economics at Cameron University.

From 1994 to 1998, they attended The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences to become a Medical Technologist specializing in Clinical Microbiology and Chemistry.

Lastly, from 1990 to 1995, Winston Brown earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Microbiology and Operations Management from Concord University.

In addition to their formal education, Brown has obtained several certifications. Winston became a Six Sigma Black Belt through Quest Diagnostics in April 2004. Winston also holds certifications in Certified ISO Lead Auditor ISO 9001 from RABS, Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Quality Engineer, and Certified Quality Manager / OE from ASQ. Additionally, they have completed a course in Thermal Process Control, Acidification, and Container Closure at Clemson University.
