Mike Olsson

VP, Human Resources & Professional Development at PCL Construction

​As vice president of Human Resources and Professional Development, Mike leads the Human Resources and Professional Development management team and is responsible for all of the services and products the team delivers. Mike has 20 years of experience in the leadership, professional development, and human resources fields. He started his PCL career in 2005 as a training consultant and not long after was named HRPD manager for Canadian Industrial. From 2005 to 2014, Mike helped grow the Canadian Industrial professional and administrative salaried staff to almost 1200 people. He attended the PCL Leadership Course in 2008, became an instructor of the course in 2010, and in 2012 took over leadership of the initiative. Mike helped launch the Canadian Industrial student program, the High Potential program, and foreign recruitment initiatives. He brings a wealth of experience in human resources, professional development, and leadership to his position.
