Göran Sandström

Göran Sandström has extensive work experience in various leadership and sales roles. Göran is currently serving as the Vice President of Sales for PCTEL Europe since March 2023. Prior to this, from January 2021 to March 2023, they held the position of CEO at Smarteq Wireless AB. Göran also worked as the VP of Sales and Marketing from January 2020 to January 2021, and as the International Sales Director from October 2019 to January 2020 at Smarteq Wireless AB.

Before joining Smarteq Wireless AB, Göran was the Managing Director of Zacco Innovation Technology Stockholm at Zacco - 360° Intellectual Property from November 2018 to September 2019. Göran also worked as a Sales Director at TT Electronics plc, formerly at Stadium Group plc, a global provider of engineered electronics, from February 2017 to October 2018.

Göran has earlier experience as the Head of Embedded Systems at Alten Sweden, where they served from July 2012 to February 2017. Göran also worked as the Group Manager Electronics from September 2011 to June 2012 at Alten Sweden.

From April 2006 to September 2011, Göran worked as a Strategic Account Director at Laird Technologies AB, responsible for the Sony Ericsson account and leading a global team. Prior to this, they held various roles at Allgon Group, including Account Manager for OEM customers from July 2002 to April 2006, Engineering Manager Europe and NAM Developement Group from June 2001 to July 2002, and Program Manager Europe from April 1997 to June 2001.

Göran began their career at AstraZeneca as a Program Manager for Cardiovascular Therapies from August 1993 to April 1997.

Göran Sandström pursued their education in a chronological manner. In 1986, they attended Université Grenoble Alpes, where they studied French Studies and Economics for a year. Following this, from 1987 to 1993, they enrolled at Linköping University and obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration in Industrial Science and Economics.
