Aidan Meek

Aidan Meek is a seasoned professional in mining engineering with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as Technical Services Superintendent at Peabody Energy since July 2022, Aidan previously held key positions at Modular Mining from January 2019 to July 2022 as Principal Mining Engineer and Performance Assurance Lead. Prior experience includes a tenure at Anglo American from January 2010 to December 2018, where Aidan worked as Section Manager and Drill and Blast Engineer, as well as other roles focused on production and mine management. Aidan's career began with a strong foundation at the University of Pretoria, culminating in a B Eng Honours and a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, along with early exposure to underground mining operations.
