Ernest Gosk

Ernest Gosk is an experienced mining professional currently serving as the SSE/Underground Mine Manager at Peabody Energy since July 2023. Prior to this role, Ernest held various positions at Fitzroy Mining Operations from August 2019 to July 2023, including SSE/Underground Mine Manager, Underground Mine Manager, and Production Manager. Between June 2015 and July 2019, Ernest worked at South32 as Longwall Superintendent, Longwall Production Coordinator, and Undermanager. Earlier in their career, Ernest spent over four years at BHP Billiton, where roles included Mining Supervisor, Mining Engineer, and Graduate Mining Engineer. Ernest holds an Executive MBA from Melbourne Business School and a BE in Mining Engineering from UNSW.
