Hélsio Amiro Motany de Albuquerque Azevedo

Hélsio Amiro Motany de Albuquerque Azevedo is a seasoned academic and professional with extensive experience in tourism, environmental management, and geography. Currently serving as an associate professor and researcher at Universidade Eduardo Mondlane, Hélsio develops educational programs and conducts research in the Departments of Tourism and Education in Natural Sciences and Mathematics. Additionally, Hélsio holds the position of Director of the Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo de Inhambane, overseeing academic and administrative management. In the role of Director of Tourism at the Peace Parks Foundation, Hélsio manages tourism initiatives in the Maputo National Park. Past roles include Vice-President of the AeroClube de Inhambane and Environmental and Social Officer at China New Era International, where Hélsio coordinated environmental management plans.
