Richard Fury MD has extensive work experience in the medical field. Richard started their career in 1986 as the Chief of the Department of Family Medicine at The Permanente Medical Group, where they also served as the Chair of Chiefs of Family Medicine from 1990 to 1992. From 1995 to 2000, they worked as the Director of Operations Improvement at The Permanente Medical Group. Following this, they joined TPMG Tech Group as the Medical Director, Technology Group (Kaiser Permanente), a role they held for 16 years. In 2016, they worked as a Physician Consultant at ennovationsMD until 2017. In the same year, they became the Chief Medical Officer at Care Stations. Since 2017, they have also been a Physician at Family Medicine. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Medical Officer at Peach Tree Health, starting from August 2019.

Richard Fury MD completed their education in two major institutions. From 1974 to 1977, they attended the University of Louisville School of Medicine, where they earned their M.D. degree. Subsequently, they pursued further studies at UC Davis Medical Center from 1977 to 1980, focusing on Family Medicine.
