Alexis Smith

Alexis is responsible for originating and structuring debt and equity investments across Stonehill’s lending platform and helping to drive its strategic growth efforts.

In this role, Alexis will establish a clear and executable strategy to invest and grow the firm’s lending and debt platforms by originating debt and equity investments, attracting new clients, creating campaigns, and negotiating terms.

Alexis brings over seven years of experience as a lender to the Stonehill team. She began her career as a junior associate at Voya Investment Management. Most recently, she served as a Senior Real Estate Associate, responsible for the analysis and origination of bridge and permanent loans across all asset types, ranging in size from $10 million to $200 million.

Alexis graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in both Real Estate and Marketing. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Georgia- Class of 2022.
