Viktor Sanderyd

Viktor Sanderyd has a diverse work experience. Viktor is currently serving as a Research and Development Manager at Peafowl Plasmonics AB since 2022.

Previously, from 2018 to 2022, Viktor worked at Graphmatech in various roles. Viktor started as a Research Engineer and was responsible for developing and utilizing graphene and graphite-based materials for composites. Viktor also played a key role in improving graphene production and evaluating supply chains. Later, they were promoted to Laboratory Manager, where they oversaw the R&D budget, managed the construction of a large facility lab, and implemented quality assurance routines. In their final role at Graphmatech, they were appointed as a Research and Development Manager, where they managed the R&D section, focused on resource allocation, project management, and team development.

Prior to Graphmatech, Viktor worked as a Master Thesis Student at the Division of Nanotechnology and Functional Materials at Uppsala University in 2018. Viktor also gained research experience as a Research Assistant Intern, investigating new applications for the mesoporous material Upsalite and conducting various syntheses and characterizations of metal-organic frameworks.

Viktor started their career as a Laboratory Analyst at SCA - Hygiene and Forest Products Company in 2015, where they performed quality control procedures for pulp and paper products.

Before entering the scientific field, Viktor worked at Betsson Group as a Senior Support Representative, providing customer service and taking on additional responsibilities such as training colleagues and improving procedures. Viktor also briefly worked as a Sales and Marketing Advisor at Appco Group.

Viktor Sanderyd pursued their education from 2013 to 2018 at Uppsala University, where they obtained a Civilingenjörsexamen (Master of Science in Engineering) in Kemiteknik med Materialinriktning (Chemical Engineering with a focus on Materials).
