Maxi Herzog has extensive work experience in the fields of research, design, and editorial operations. Starting in 2014, they worked as a veterinary laboratory assistant at Teagasc before going on to complete a practicum with FiDiPub - Fit for Digital Publishing at the University of Leipzig in 2017. Maxi then became the editor-in-chief of the Leipzig Lerche, a student-run publication that specializes in writing about the book industry. After this, they worked as an executive editor for Electronic Markets, a journal that publishes academic research on the digital economy. Maxi later worked at InfAI - Institut für Angewandte Informatik as a scientific employee on research projects, including FiDiPub and DokIT. Most recently, Maxi held a role as a designer at Merle Design and will start working as a Junior Content Marketing Managerin at Peak Ace AG in June 2023.
Maxi Herzog has a diverse education history which includes completing a Bachelor of Arts in Buchhandel/Verlagswirtschaft at HTWK Leipzig from 2015 to 2018. Maxi also pursued a Fernstudium in Fotodesign in 2021 through OfG/Online-Schule für Gestaltung. Maxi also became a Geprüfte Grafik-Designerin (Mac) from Institut für Lernsysteme, where they studied from 2019 to 2021. In addition, Maxi completed an Ausbildung in Veterinärmedizinisch-technischer-Laboratoriumsassistent from IWB Plauen from 2012 to 2015.
