Velislav Kostov

Velislav Kostov is a highly skilled aviation professional currently serving as a Global Express First Officer at Union Aviation since February 2022, focusing on providing safe and comfortable flight experiences for VIP customers across a wide operational range including Asia, the US, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Additionally, Velislav holds the role of Performance Pilot at Union Aviation, responsible for conducting airport categorization and preparing briefings for challenging airports. Since September 2022, Velislav has been working as a Seat-Support Pilot at CAE, enhancing knowledge of the Bombardier Global Express. As the Head of Content Development at Peak Aviation since November 2020, Velislav leads the creation of distance learning curricula for aspiring pilots. Previous experience includes serving as a Gulfstream G150 First Officer at Amber Jet Group and a Flight Instructor at North Weald Flight Training. Velislav holds a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Technology with Pilot Studies from the University of Leeds and completed ATPL Theory at Bristol Groundschool.
