Trent Wallin

Mr. Wallin is the CFO at Peak Capital and joined the firm in June 2014. As CFO, Trent is primarily responsible for the accounting and financial reporting at Peak Capital and its affiliates. Prior to Peak Capital, Trent worked as the Controller / Director of Accounting at Viking Cruises, a rapidly growing cruise line, where he became skilled at analyzing processes and scaling for greater efficiency while ensuring uncompromising compliance with financial reporting requirements under US GAAP and IFRS. Trent also worked at Ernst & Young in the Assurance and Advisory Business Services group for four and a half years. During his tenure there, Mr. Wallin worked with clients from a variety of industries, including financial services. He worked on teams to perform financial statement and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance audits, and advised on various accounting and auditing related matters. Mr. Wallin also spent three years with a regional CPA firm where he was responsible for preparing financial statements and advising publicly-traded clients in technical accounting areas, including accounting for complex financial instruments. Mr. Wallin is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the states of California and Utah. He has been a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants since 2007. He received a Masters of Accountancy from the University of Virginia and a B.S. in Business Management – Finance from Brigham Young University.
