Fiona Stubbs

Fiona Stubbs is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in various roles focused on writing and media. As a Communications Officer at Peak District National Park since January 2017, Fiona has played a pivotal role in both proactive and reactive communications, contributing to the establishment of the Peak District National Park Foundation through effective written communications and marketing strategies supported by photography. Since May 2013, Fiona has also operated as a self-employed freelance copywriter and journalist, emphasizing the importance of client relationships and understanding unique communication needs. Previously, Fiona served as Editor of Pure Business magazine from March 2016 to August 2017, where leadership was provided for an editorially-focused publication that addressed local business news and served as a marketing platform for regional firms. Fiona holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Nottingham Trent University and a National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) Proficiency Certificate and National Award in Journalism from Richmond College, Sheffield.
