Ale Raza

Ale Raza has over two decades of experience in finance and accounting roles. They started their career as an Assistant Finance Manager at CYBERNET in 1997 and later moved to Majid Al Futtaim, where they served as a Senior Group Accountant and Finance Manager from 1998 to 2004. Then, Ale Raza joined Majid Al Futtaim again in 2005 as an Assistant Manager in Treasury Operations.

In 2007, Ale Raza joined MAF Shopping Malls as a Group Finance Manager. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating and analyzing the budgets of 16 business units, preparing financial statements, and providing consolidated forecasts and variance analysis. They acted as a super user for the Consolidation Reporting Software CARAT and worked closely with external auditors during the audit process. Additionally, Ale Raza managed the head office accounting functions and provided direction over five direct reports.

In 2009, Ale Raza joined Schneider Electric Solar Inverter Inc. as a Senior Financial Analyst and Accounting Team Lead. They held this position until 2013 when they transitioned to Mall of Qatar. At Mall of Qatar, Ale Raza initially served as a Financial Controller and later became a Director of Finance, overseeing financial operations.

Most recently, Ale Raza joined Peak Power Inc in 2022 as a Financial Controller.

Ale Raza has a comprehensive education history that includes obtaining a CMA (Certified Management Accountants) degree in Strategic Financial Management from Certified Management Accountants- CANADA in the year 2008-2009. Prior to that, Ale Raza pursued a degree in Cost and Management Accounting, earning an ACMA (Associate of Cost and Management Accountants) from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants Pakistan, starting in 1994 and completing it in 1997. Additionally, Ale Raza holds a B.Sc degree from Karachi University, although the specific start and end years for this degree are not provided.
