Sascha Bruns

Sascha Bruns currently serves as the Head of Global Retrocession at Peak Re since September 2021. Prior to this role, Sascha Bruns accumulated extensive experience at Hannover Rück-Gruppe, where tenure from April 2002 to August 2021 included positions as Senior Underwriter in Group Protections focused on Traditional Retrocessions and Securitizations, as well as participation in the Management Trainee Programme with an emphasis on Underwriting across various departments. Earlier in the career, Sascha Bruns held the position of Assistant Underwriter at Gen Re from April 2001 to March 2002. Educational qualifications include a degree from the University of Applied Sciences Cologne, completed between 1997 and 2001.
